WE GATHER WEEKLY TO WORSHIP AND EXPLORE GOD'S WORD
Sunday Morning Service
Everything we do on a Sunday morning revolves around God’s Word, the Bible. So we read God’s Word, we sing God’s Word, we pray God’s Word, we preach God’s Word, and we taste and see God’s Word in the Lord’s Supper and baptism. We try and structure the whole service around the story of the gospel, and also sing a mixture of contemporary worship songs, hymns and psalms throughout. We hope you’ll feel a warm welcome on Sunday mornings whatever you believe, and whether it’s your first visit or fiftieth!

Children
As Jesus welcomed even the youngest of children to him, we do everything we can to help children experience that welcome as we gather on Sundays. Children stay in the service to worship with their families, helped by their own special service sheets. During the sermon we run classes for those of infant school age, as well as a creche. Older children have their own worksheets to help them follow the sermon. There’s also an area with soft toys and other distractions available throughout the service at the back of the main room for those getting too wriggly! Church is a family, and, like all families, the noise of children is a healthy sign!

Sunday Evening Service
We have started a new weekly Evening Service, which will begin on 8th September 2024. We'd love for you to join us from 6-7pm for this somewhat relaxed yet engaging service.
All evening services will be held at Headingley St. Columba United Reformed Church, 70 Headingley Ln.
* We aim to meet at the Faversham Sunday morning. However, sometimes scheduling conflicts arise, and we may need to hold the meeting at a different location. We understand the importance of keeping everyone updated, so we'll make sure to inform you in advance whenever such changes occur.
Adult Sunday School
Before our church service, we get together to chat over tea and coffee and dive into specific topics related to God's word, exploring how we can better know and follow Him.
Children's Sunday School
While the adults are in the class, we run a Children's Sunday school for all age groups where we teach interactive lessons around God's word.
